[LIFE] Living Against the Odds

Assalam and Good Day everyone 🙂

I haven't posted anything for a very long time. I guess I should update my blog occasionally 😃😃

Disclaimer: The title is definitely not intentional 😁😁

So, back to my story. It's been a month now since I first came to Southampton, UK. I definitely miss my family. But to be honest, I miss myself a lot, more than anything.

I had a very good life back in Malaysia. I have my car, friends, good foods, late night hangout with my friends and stuffs. Now, everything has changed. I need to walk more, I guess walking is really a thing for me, especially when I set a 10k steps goal everyday. I miss eating at mamak so much, to the point that I had a dream of eating at mamak 🤣🤣.

I feel like I need to discover a lot more about myself. Talking about friends, since everyone is busy with their own life, I need to make myself busy as well. When I see people walking in a group, that's when I feel like I miss myself being in a group. Here, most of the time, I'm all alone. Doing shopping alone, eat alone. I don't even have friends to plan a trip together! That's a very sad life guys. It's lonely.

Soooo, i decided to go against the odd! If others are planning for their next trip together, I'm planning to go on a SOLO adventure with a group of SOLO traveler as well! That way, I can get to know a lot of people and probably I can create a long-term friendship with them. I do understand that people come and go. Even I does that most of the time.

After all, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I heard that some of my friends are planning a trip with their new friends that they made here. I'm definitely okay with that. I hope they enjoy their trip coz I'll be enjoying mine as well!

Southampton Common, Park Run.

Shopping alone at Boots. Trust me, I enjoyed it! Shopping alone is the best. Less stress, less tension.

On the way to the class. It was very windy that day.

My current obsession. This is one way of getting to know more people. Some of them even shares the same interest as me!

Cheers,
